In Jaywick village there are several convenience stores, a post office and a chemist, as well as various take aways and cafes.You can either drive or walk along the sea front to the peerin Clacton. Clacton town contains various shops, as does the nearby Clacton shopping village. There is a family farm in Clacton too. Colchester Zoo and Colchester Castle are just over half an hour drive away.
